Our Ground floor Bed and Breakfast accommodation is found inside the main house. It's an ideal family suite. Breakfast is served in our own Dining Room. Amble in, settle down at our table and look out at the view over Loch Bracadale and towards McLeod's Tables. Use our Spotting Scope to count the Seals on Tarner Island out in the Loch (37 is the record!).
After a long day on the Hill or just touring and taking in the scenery, unwind in a long hot bath or with a refreshing shower before heading out for a meal, we'll send you a list of recommendations before you arrive so that you can book ahead. There's Skye Skyns sheepskin rugs by the side of the King size bed and Skye Weavers blankets for extra warmth. The main Bedroom has its own 43" FreeSat Smart TV.
There's an adjoining room with twin beds accessed through the main bedroom that has a moorland view. This makes Balmeanach an ideal family suite for up to 4 people. Need somewhere to eat out in the evening? Just ask us for our recommendations!
Balmeanach is offered as Bed and Breakfast accommodation and there are NO cooking facilities in this suite and nowhere to prepare or eat food.

Breakfast
We serve breakfast between 08:00 and 09:00 in our own Dining Room. Sit at our large table and enjoy the lovely view out over Loch Bracadale. We offer a wide range of breakfast options from a "Full Scottish" (Veggie version available) to lighter options such as traditional Scottish Porridge or Smashed Avocado and Egg on toast to breakfast cereals. If Simon's been baking again, there'll be fresh bread or Sara's delicious homemade Granola on offer!

Main Bedroom
King size bed, Skye Skyns Sheepskin bedside rugs, Skye Weavers Cushions, 43" Smart TV, Views out over open Moorland. Patio doors onto small deck with seating. Video Walkthrough updated March 2024.
Adjoining Twin Room
2 Single Beds, Skye Weavers Cushions. Views out over open Moorland. Ideal family room for Children or Teenagers. Early risers may see Deer in the field across the Track, the record so far is 9!
Bathroom
Spacious Bathroom with Corner bath and seperate Shower. Accessible through Main bedroom. Those sleeping in the twin room will need to pass through the main bedroom to access the bathroom.
